You can delete your Hockey Trackr Team account and everything stored with it. There are two ways to do it — one takes about ten seconds, the other is for when you no longer have the app.
Delete it yourself, in the app
- Open Hockey Trackr Team and sign in.
- On the main screen, scroll down to the Account section.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
That's it. The account is gone immediately — no email, no waiting.
Ask by email
Email [email protected]
with the subject Account deletion request, from the email address
you signed in with. That last part matters: it is how the request is verified,
and a request from a different address cannot be actioned.
Requests are confirmed and completed within 30 days, and in practice within a few days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in record
- Every team you created, including rosters — player names and jersey numbers
- Every game belonging to a team you created, with its stats, goals, penalties and notes
- Team logos, whether uploaded or AI-generated
- Your display name and your membership of every team you joined
- Your AI image allowance and usage count
Deleting a team you created deletes it for everyone on it. Their copy of that team's roster, games and season statistics goes with yours — it is one shared team, not a copy each. If teammates are relying on it, hand the team to another owner first, or leave the team instead of deleting your account.
All of it is removed at once, permanently. There is no recovery window and no hidden archive, so export a backup first if you want to keep your season.
What is not deleted
The copy on your own device. The app stores your teams and games locally so it works without a signal, and deleting the account on the server does not reach into a phone or tablet you still have.
To clear that copy: sign out of the app, or uninstall it, or clear the app's storage in your device settings.
Games you recorded for someone else's team. If you kept score for a team you did not create, those games stay in that team's history the way a scoresheet does. Your name comes off them; the game does not disappear from everyone else's season.
Ordinary server logs kept by the hosting providers (Cloudflare, Supabase) age out on their own schedules. They hold request records, not your teams or players.
Deleting only part of it
You don't have to delete the whole account to get rid of one season. Deleting a team or a game in the app removes it from your device and from the server on the next sync, and keeps everything else.
To stop seeing a team without destroying it, leave the team instead. That removes you from its member list and takes your display name off it, and leaves the team intact for everyone else.
